The Merciful Mama: Authentically Catholic Motherhood and Family Life

There are so many opinions about how to raise children in this modern world.

But Motherhood isn't a "practice"...it is a mission.

It is a mission for which you, in partnership with the indwelling Christ, are equipped with, "everything needed for life and godliness", and "immeasurable power" (2 Peter 1:3, Eph. 1:19).

So why are so we so frustrated?

If these words get your heart stirring, it's likely because you have come face to face with your limits as a mother.

You have lost your temper too many times to count.

You are restless and longing for a more joyful way.

You are hungry to live a life that is faithful to Christ and that blesses your children and your home with his presence.

In this course we become students of Our Lady, the saints, scripture, and God himself in the way we respond to our work and mission as Catholic mothers and wives.

We will learn how to respond to the ups and downs of daily life with peace and cheerfulness...

We will learn to trust God daily, actively, and peacefully with all the myriad of difficulties that occur in our vocations...

We will study some key saints who have insights to offer us about the hearts of children and parents...

We will learn with Martha of Bethany, the "one thing necessary" and with Mary of Bethany, how to practically "choose the better part" in day to day life...

We will examine the life and example of the Blessed Mother as well as testimony from the saints about the Holy Family to glean insights to how they they parented Jesus, and how they are parenting us today...

We will discover in a fresh way the one concept that describes everything about God we need to know:

Mercy...

and how to become truly merciful parents, spouses, and friends of Christ.
